Blood donors wanted at local sessions

BLOOD donors are being urged to turn out to two local sessions next week.

With just four per cent of the eligible population actually giving blood, supplies are always urgently needed for local hospitals.

There are sessions at the Cannock Chase Council Civic Centre in Beecroft Road, Cannock, on Tuesday, November 18, from 1.30-3.30pm and 4.30-7.30pm.

Then the collection team will be a Rugeley Progressive WM Club, Market Street, Rugeley, on Thursday, November 20, at the same times.

In either case, an appointment is recommended to avoid undue waiting times.
